Edinburgh Marathon Festival

Be part of Scotland’s BIGGEST running festival!
This ever-growing festival of running is now a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar. Starting in Edinburgh, the course heads out through East Lothian offering stunning views and an unforgettable running experience.
The full weekend of events attracts around 30,000 runners, with thousands more lining the course to support.

Distance: Marathon / Half Marathon
Registration Fee:
Marathon – £50 (plus booking fee)
Half – £40 (plus booking fee)
 
Fundraising Target:
Marathon – £500
Half – £300

NB – For the Marathon and Half a minimum of 50% of your fundraising target is due by 14 December 2026. The remaining fundraising is due no later than 6 weeks after the event date.

Confirm your place through Run For Charity and the team at Weston Hospicecare will support you on your fundraising journey, and once you reach your first £150 we’ll also send you a Weston Hospicecare branded Technical T-shirt or running vest.
