Dear Zoo

Little ones and their grown-ups can look forward to a special day out at The Playhouse on Tuesday 16 March 2027, when Parkwood Theatres brings Dear Zoo to Weston-super-Mare. Based on the much-loved story of a child who keeps asking for a pet and receives a surprise animal in a box each time, this is a perfect outing for families looking for a bit of theatrical magic close to home.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, carer or a child who has already been reading the book at bedtime for years, this production is designed to bring that familiar world to life on stage. It’s a wonderful way to introduce younger children to live theatre, and a chance for the whole family to share a few laughs and gasps together in a welcoming, community venue.
