Why Your Participation Matters:
Did you know that Weston Hospicecare receives less than 20% of its funding from the NHS? This means that the majority of our financial support comes from the generosity of individuals and local communities. Events like Men’s March are vital for raising the funds we need to continue providing compassionate end-of-life care. While your entry fee covers the cost of participating, it’s your sponsorship that truly supports patients at Weston Hospicecare.
If one participant raises just £100, that could fund four child bereavement support sessions. If each participant raises £100, together that could provide care from a Community Nurse Specialist for 43 patients.
